There are several types of ISCET Online Learning Material. CSG/PT: Computerized Study Guide/Practice Tests LC: Learning Courses LC-D: Learning Courses on CD-ROM or DVD Discs SG: Study Guides w/out any Practice Test Questions LG: Learning Graphics IA: Interactive (Virtual Classroom) Courses Interactive (Virtual Classroom) courses are given on the Internet, complete with live instructor(s). Common graphics are shared, and audio is provided through VOIP connections between computers of the students and the instructor(s), much like a webinar. Schedule of classes is usually developed with Tuesday and Thursday evenings, each having one hour of classroom work. Wednesday evenings accommodate 2-hour sessions. Some courses lend themselves to 3 days a week, but most do not. Most (LC) courses are available in IA format. CSG/PT -- All Online Study Guides & Practice Tests (CSG/PT) are provided complete with printed versions of the Study Guide included in the purchase price, where available. Shipping & Handling charge will be added when printed material is sent. Use of the online material is provided for 150 calendar days from date of issue. Additional time can be purchased. All Study Guides & Practice Tests (CSG/PT) are written to aid in preparation for ISCET Certification Examinations. They are not intended as study text, such as you would find in a textbook environment. Discussions of each question will add to your knowledge base, and be helpful in identifying your strengths and weaknesses in specific areas of the subject being studied. These guides are an excellent resource for preparation for the student who will be taking an ISCET examination. LC –- Learning Courses -- are designed as study text, and have the ability to send e-mail queries and receive answers within 48 hours (weekends and holidays not included). LC-D courses are without any ability to ask questions by e-mail. You can, of course, address an e-mail to testing@iscet.org and receive an answer within a reasonable period of time on any subject relative to the material in the course. All CSG/PT and LC online courses have the ability to send e-mail to ISCET with questions concerning the area of study, and receive answers within 48 hours (weekends and holidays excluded). LC-D -- (LC-D) Learning Courses are provided on CD-ROM without printed material, and may be used for the lifetime of the disk. They have no ability to send e-mail queries to ISCET. You can, of course, address an e-mail to testing@iscet.org and receive an answer within a reasonable period of time on any subject relative to the material in the course. Please note that Online Learning products DO NOT have audio. This applies to CD's as well as online learning courses and products. After your purchase of an Online Learning Course, except LC-D, a course key will be sent to you via e-mail. Please allow sufficient time for receipt of this key prior to your target date for beginning your online learning course. Keys are issued by the ISCET office during regular business hours between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Central Time. The ISCET office is closed on weekends and recognized holidays.
